Senator Orrin Hatch Is A Liar - Revoke His Temple Recommend
I support the GI Bill and have wanted it to pass and be signed into law. I made my wishes known to all of the congressmen
and Senators “representing” the state of Utah. As usual, Senator Hatch responded with a form letter, signed in fake blue ink. But at least he responded. Sometimes Senator Bennett responds too to my letters.
“I am inclined (to) support a bill that would enhance the education benefits offered to our troops.” Yes, there was a typo in the sentence. Nowhere in the letter did he say he would vote against this bill.
Nowhere did he say it needed changes. And then he gave W. credit for something. God bless W. The letter was dated May 1. Inclined to support.
The GI Bill passed the House on May 15. And today, it passed the Senate. I am thrilled. And I checked to see how MY senators voted. And my holy hell, asshole Senator and wanna be musician Orrin G. Hatch voted Nay. That lying son-of-a-bitch. Think I’m mad?
Not only should he be impeached for lying to ME, but his Mormon bishop needs to take away his temple recommend. Anybody in his ward? Let me know.
Why couldn’t Senator Hatch get the brain tumor instead of Senator Kennedy? Now watch the secret service show up on my doorstep. I’ll ask them to fix the door knob on my shed.

Once you become a politician and achieve a certain level, you cease to be anything else. Mormon or no, moral compunctions go by the wayside when there is power and money at stake. Look at Mitt Romney, who flip-flops on so many issues he looks like a Cirque Du Soleil performer. There is no morality or honor, only money and power.
@Sov Speaking of Mitt, my nephew asked my sister, both Mormon, ‘Mom, Mitt Romney is a politician. Is he allowed to have a Temple recommend?”
I for one am thrilled that the GI Bill passed, being an Air Force vet myself. I used my GI Bill, but because I didn’t use it soon enough it expired and I never got the full benefit of it. Still, I’m so glad I had it. Those young people serving now, during wartime, deserve the best and are so incredibly under appreciated. Good for you, being so involved!
Also thanks for the condolence comment on my blog. She was one of a kind!
I’m glad you posted about this GI bill - I haven’t seen too much in the blogosphere about how our elected representatives voted (though I know they all voted against). I keep meaning to write a post about it myself.
