My aunt was diagnosed today with Diverticulitis. Not knowing what it is, I Googled it to find out. I discovered that one of the first steps in treatment is to “rest the bowels.” So, does one with Diverticulitis call in to their boss and say, “I’m sorry I can’t come in today…I need to rest my bowels?”
how does one rest their bowels? Send down Nyquil and hope they accept? hmmm……
