My Big Uncoordinated Head
My weekend was pretty much a blur. I am finally coming out of the fog that started when I slammed my head into the hatchback of Stella, my Passat Wagon. I told the VW dude that the hatchback didn’t always open completely. But of course, when a car is in the shop, it always works perfectly. I hurridly leaned in too soon while depositing a load of groceries and whacked myself really good.
It hurt more than any other of my former head incidents, but didn’t draw blood. The other incidents? Oh, like when I was painting under a three foot deck and forgot I was under a three foot deck and stood up. Or the time I got something out of the freezer above the fridge, and didn’t pull my head out before slamming the freezer door shut (that one left a scar). Or the time I was building a scratching post for my cat and my hair got caught in the air intake slit of the drill and sucked my head into the case of the drill (broke the drill). Or when vacuuming under my bed and again, my hair got caught between the vacuum and the hose attached to it. I jerked back so hard and fast it pulled the scalp away from my head. Lots of blood on that one.
My headache is finally gone, my head is still sore to the touch, and I live with the fact that I have a big uncoordinated head. Maybe that is why my neck always hurts. Must be tiresome holding up my head all day.
