I’m Sick of It

I am sick of never knowing if I am going to feel well. I am sick of my hands and feet going numb. I am sick of my head and face going numb. I am sick of not even being able to clean my kitchen without almost falling over. I am sick of being afraid to go into stores. I am sick of pain in the left side of my head. I am sick of being so tired each week by Thursday that I want to puke. I am sick of feeling so old when I’m really not. I am sick of people looking at me with pity if I am having a day where I walk like I am drunk…and I’m not. I am sick of every now and then crying in front of my daughter and having her worry. I am sick of doing everything my neurologist tell me to do and I still feel sick. I am sick of not being able to figure out what I am doing wrong that I will have one really great week and then a week or two from hell.

Thank you for listening to me. I didn’t know what else to do because crying isn’t working, and the option of going out and buying and eating all Utah’s leftover Easter candy would require going into stores. And I’ll be fine tomorrow.

  6. Having “stiff man syndrome”, I can relate to what you are going through. I have the same feelings after visiting my Neurologist or my DO who gives me Botox shots in my back every four months.
