Celestial Sushi
I had sushi for lunch yesterday, and I realized that it was, for me, the perfect food. I ate that sushi with two of my Mormon friends. And a thought hit me. What food will Mormons eat in heaven?
My apologies to those of you unfamiliar with the Mormon idea of heaven and the levels therein. For information, DON’T call the Mormon missionaries, just do the research on Wikipedia.
So here is my theory of what food is eaten in each eternal kingdom of glory.
Celestial Kingdom
First Degree - Sushi from Ahh Sushi, or Takashi
Second Degree - Thai from Chanon
Third Degree - Hummus Wrap from Aristos
Terrestrial Kingdom - Vegetarian Curry Chicken Noodle Salad from Shanghai Cafe
Telestial Kingdom - Bacon Cheesburger with Fries and Fry Sauce from Crown Burger
Outer Darkness - My cooking
Now if the Mormon church was smart, they would push this as a great marketing tool. Nobody wants to eat my cooking in Outer Darkness for Eternity. But hey, I might live a pretty righteous life for some sushi or humus.
