This morning I bid goodbye to you, my beloved savings account. You have brought me great peace of mind over this past year; this past ill-begotten year with its three layoffs. You have kept me afloat, have kept my credit rating intact, have given solace. The joy I felt when you were bursting with abundance and security I will always remember.
But alas, I need that final $93 you protect, and to retrieve it, I need to close you. So I shall.
Parting is such sweet sorrow.
